Directions
Getting around in Koh Samui is quite simple; with just one main highway that runs around the island's perimeter, you can follow the main road in any direction and you will come to the turn-off to Le Royal Meridien Baan Taling Ngam.

You need to plan on staying at Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa for at least a week to enjoy all the delicious food offered at the resort's four food and beverage outlets, which have brilliantly blended fine cuisine served in a fresh, elegant atmosphere against the superb aquamarine backdrop of the Gulf of Thailand. Be prepared for an Epicurean treat. If you fancy a quiet meal in your room, select from a magical variety of Thai, Asian and international dishes on the 24-hour room service menu.

• Lom Talay - a gentle breeze at night can add to the magical atmosphere at Lom Talay, the outdoor restaurant whose name translates as 'sea breeze'. Lom Talay has a cosy, chimerical feel. Guests can gaze out at the distant sea and watch the magnificent sunset. Twilight cocktails can be followed by a selection of genuine Thai dishes cooked with a unique flair. A variety of Asian and Mediterranean dishes are prepared at Lom Talay and somehow the sea breeze adds a unique flavour to the meal. Lom Talay can seat 60 people.
  
  
• The Promenade - offers savoury seafood, including fresh sea bass, red snapper, deep-sea garoupa, lobster, crab and squid. The chef himself goes to the fishing village of Taling Ngam every day to buy the freshest supplies. This restaurant also serves breakfast, lunch and snacks including pizzas and salads. Tropical cocktails and an extensive selection of wine provide something special for everyone. The Promenade can seat 40.
  
  
• Baan Chantra - an exquisite restaurant serving royal Thai cuisine. Follow you culinary curiosity and arouse your taste buds whilst discovering the harmony between sweet, salty and sour ingredients in Thai cooking. This restaurant offers inside and outside seating, and you may choose between traditional Thai cushions or Western-style tables while being entertained by classical Thai music and dances.
  
  
• The Pool Deck - for a casual midday repose from waterfront activities, The Pool Deck is the place to be. Guests sitting poolside can be served cocktails and light snacks. The view from here, as from every corner of the resort, is breathtaking, with Ang Thong Marine National Park and its neighbouring islands visible in the distance.
  
  
• Verandah Bar - at dusk, watch the sun setting on the horizon from the Verandah Bar. This intimate bar is a pleasant place to unwind after a day of sunbathing, snorkelling and a massage. The Verandah Bar can seat 20.
  
  
• Romantic Beach Dining - if you are looking for an intimate evening on the beach, then you should opt for Romantic Beach Dining. We will create the perfect private ambience in magnificent surroundings. • The Sala Thai - The perfect venue, next to the pool, for an intimate dinner. • Villa BBQ - made for those who wish to stay in privacy in their own villa while enjoying a barbecue and having a memorable evening. One of our chefs will come over and arrange everything for you. Our offer features three mouth-watering barbecues: The Reef Side, which combines the freshest seafood from the region, The Ranch Side, for a selection of meat and The Ranch and Reef Side, to enjoy them both.

Guest Room Information

Deluxe - spacious room with a minimum size of 65 square metres. Consisting of seating area with comfortable couch and chairs, writing desk and DVD, CD and cassette player. King-sized bed, modern Thai-style setting with polished wood floor. The luxurious bathrooms feature views of the ocean from the oversized bath. Separate shower, double sink and separate toilet. These rooms benefit from a spacious private balcony, all overlooking the ocean, with sun lounges and an outside seating area.

Beach Villas - two-bedroom beachfront villas, one with a king-size bed and one twin-bedded, with a minimum of 150 square metres of floor area. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The villa also has a living and dining room with additional guest toilet. Traditional Thai setting with rooms connected via open-air corridor / terrace with the same amenities as the Deluxe rooms. Located just a few metres from the beach, the Promenade Restaurant and the beach swimming pool.

Cliff Villas - One-bedroom - two-storey villas with a minimum of 180 square metres of floor area. Villas consist of one bathroom and a kitchenette, with a very large living and dining area with traditional Thai decor and a spacious outdoor balcony. Located up the hill from the hotel, the bedroom configuration is usually one king and two twin. The facilities are the same as in the Deluxe rooms. Clusters of five to six villas share one of the five semi-private villa pools.

Cliff Villas - Two-bedroom - two-storey villas with a minimum of 240 square metres of floor area. Units consist of two bedrooms, connected through a small corridor, which are ideal for families with children. Each room has its own bathroom and a large living and dining area with traditional Thai decor and a kitchenette. These villas have a spacious outdoor balcony. Bedroom configuration is usually one king and one twin, with the same amenities and facilities as the Deluxe rooms. Clusters of five to six villas share one of the five semi-private villa pools.

Cliff Villas - Three-bedroom - two storey villas with a minimum of 300 square metres of floor area. Villas consist of two master bedrooms with a king bed each and a twin bedded guest bedroom, all with own bathrooms. There is a large living / dining area with traditional Thai decor and a kitchenette, as well as a spacious outdoor balcony. With all the same facilities as the Deluxe rooms, this villa shares a semi-private pool with two other villas.

Deluxe Suite - one-bedroom suite with luxurious bathroom with oversized bath, shower, double sink and separate toilet, all overlooking the ocean. There is a dining and seating area with a comfortable couch and chairs, writing desk, television, DVD and sound system, a walk-in closet and a kitchenette. The suite's bedroom features a king-sized bed, overlooking the ocean, and is in a modern Thai-style setting with polished wood floor. It has a spacious private balcony, overlooking the ocean, with sun loungers and an outside seating area.

Royal Villa Baan Napa - lies in flower-filled grounds, 110 metres above sea level, with the most spectacular setting in all Samui, featuring wonderful ocean and mountain views. Built in classical Thai style, this 700-square-metre, two-storey, peak-roofed villa resembles an enclave of separate pavilions, housing three luxurious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and balconies. A private games room is equipped with an American pool table and a separate television room. An opulent living room and kitchen opens to a large balcony with parasol-shaded dining tables, sun loungers, massage beds and a private outdoor infinity-style jacuzzi plunge pool, facing the ocean.
