The resort enjoys a spectacular hillside setting, overlooking a secluded bay just north of the world-famous Chaweng Beach. Although only few minutes from the island’s boutique airport and a short drive from central Chaweng, Nora is secluded and private, a little village within lush gardens.

Thai food has transcended from street food to be hailed as one of the world’s culinary masterpieces – at Nora Beach Resort you’ll see why. As Nora’s main restaurant, the Prasuthon offers Royal Thai dishes using ancient recipes that have been enjoyed by the upper crust of Thai society for generations. There is also a wide variety of western dishes and fusion food to choose from. Nora’s director of Food and Beverage Khun Mattawan has worked in five-star resorts around the region and prides himself on ingredients and many of the resort’s herbs and vegetables are grown in the lush surrounding gardens.

Each morning from seven till eleven, Nora hosts a buffet breakfast offering many different dishes from around the world. From bacon and eggs to fruit and freshly cooked breads, you’re bound to find some comfort food when you eat breakfast at Nora.

Koh Samui is a great place to sample some of the world’s best and freshest seafood. So as the sun slowly sink over the horizon, get on down to the beach for the Prasuthon barbeque.
